Love Me Tender Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 grassroots organization in middle Tennessee, dedicated to helping abused and abandoned animals, and promoting low cost spay/neuter  to help control the animal population.

About Love Me Tender Animal Rescue

Love Me Tender Animal Rescue services a mostly poor and rural community in middle Tennessee where there is no form of animal control.  Our community has no shelter, so we have a foster care program to address the needs of abandoned pets. Unfortunately, we are overwhelmed with more pets than we have foster homes, and so we can’t accept animals from those needing to relinquish their pets, nor take in strays for others at this time.

However, we can assist with distributing donated pet food, housing, and bedding to the poor and elderly, especially in winter when heating costs soar and many can't afford to take care of their pets. Our volunteers check on the dogs in our area who live on chains to insure they have the necessary food, water and shelter. We work to educate those in our community about basic pet care to make them more responsible pet owners.

We know we can't save all the animals, but we can work to improve the lives of those in our little part of the world.
